Compassion, Learning, and Love

I recently had the incredible opportunity to hear Father Boyle speak at the University of California in beautiful Santa Barbara. He spoke of compassion. He spoke of inclusion. He spoke of rivals who learned to work together for the good of all. "The measure of our compassion lies not in our service to those in the margins but in the willingness to see ourselves in kinship with them and in mutuality. "
